Since 2017, Christian Salzer has been the coordinator for structural engineering at FH Campus Wien. There he teaches young people interested in statics, steel construction and structural design. Thanks to the research infrastructure on campus and the interdisciplinary exchange with lecturers, diebauplaner is always up to date.

Christian Salzer is active in various working groups, for example the EUROCODE working group of the Austrian Steel Construction Association, the SPECIFICATION BUILDING CONSTRUCTION working group (19) for performance group 32 (steel construction), and is a member of the technical committee of the Austrian Steel Construction Association.
